In January and February 2016 Steve Carvell and his friend Kelvin Webster celebrated 50 years of loyal Golden Palace attendance  - and held a special event in the WV1 quadrant bar with extra special guests Mike and Barbara Bailey, Terry and Sue Wharton and Bully during the Preston match 13th February 2016
