Friday 2nd October 2009  Fullers Brewery Chiswick.  Our thanks to John Roberts, Wolves fan and Director of the brewing company and John Keeling, Head brewer, and fan of Stretford Utd. Pictures being loaded here

Meet at 4:00pm in the Mawson Arms (outside the brewery on the A4).. Details

A pi**up in a brewery.  Friday 2nd October 2009 - evMawson Arms-200ening - time tbd Fuller Smith & Turner's Brewery, Chiswick
As Chairman Stuart anticipated there is exceptional demand for such an event, and it’s “sold out”.   The visit has been arranged with a Wolves fan who is an executive at the Brewery. Bob G and I went there last year and it really is both fascinating and liquid! Learn why Fuller's didn't use sugar until they bought the Horndean brewery and HSB;  visit the museum - a very civilised one with a bar in it!  Meeting place (illustrated below) is the Mawson Arms on the A4 right outside the brewery from 16:00 for a 17:00 start.  You must have booked with Stuart to be admitted to the brewery.
** = pint
The brewery is right on the Westbound A4 by the Chiswick Hogarth Roundabout..   It's about a mile walk from Turnham Green tube station or Chiswick railway station or a bus from Hammersmith or Richmond.  Click here for an aerial view.
